Taxbix is a trading name of Gain Financial Solutions Ltd, a specialist accounting and tax advisory firm based in London. We serve UK limited company directors, sole traders and professionals across multiple sectors including dentistry, IT contracting, construction, property investment and more.

All services are delivered in compliance with the professional standards of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and in accordance with applicable UK tax and accounting legislation.

Our Professional Standards

As an ICB member firm, we adhere to the ICB's Code of Professional Conduct, which requires us to act with:

• Integrity — honest and straightforward in all professional and business relationships
• Objectivity — not allow bias or conflicts of interest to override professional judgement
• Professional competence — maintain professional knowledge and skills to a standard that ensures clients receive competent service
• Confidentiality — respect the confidentiality of information acquired during professional work
• Professional behaviour — comply with relevant laws and regulations and avoid bringing the profession into disrepute

HMRC Agent Authorisation

As a registered HMRC Agent, we are authorised to:

• Submit Self Assessment tax returns on behalf of clients
• Submit Corporation Tax returns (CT600) on behalf of limited companies
• Submit VAT returns and manage VAT registrations
• Correspond with HMRC on behalf of clients regarding tax matters
• Act as a client's agent in HMRC enquiries and compliance checks

We will only act as your HMRC agent once you have completed the required agent authorisation process. We will never file any return without your prior approval.

Making Tax Digital (MTD)

We are fully compliant with HMRC's Making Tax Digital requirements. We support clients with MTD for VAT and are prepared for future MTD for Income Tax (MTD ITSA) rollout. We use MTD-compatible software to ensure all digital record-keeping and submission requirements are met.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

Gain Financial Solutions Ltd is supervised for AML purposes by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers under the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017.

As part of our AML obligations, we are required to:

• Verify the identity of all clients before providing services (Know Your Client / KYC)
• Carry out ongoing monitoring of client relationships
• Report suspicions of money laundering or terrorist financing to the National Crime Agency (NCA)

Please note that if we are required to make a suspicious activity report (SAR), we are legally prohibited from informing you ("tipping off").
